Total Fire Ban

Due to the continued hot and dry weather, a total fire ban will be put in place for all of Loyalist Township as of 12:00 a.m. on August 12, 2025. 

What is prohibited:

  • All open-air fires including brush fires, agriculture fires, campfires, fire in an outdoor fireplace, etc.
  • Fireworks

What is permitted:

  • Certified BBQ’s designed specifically for cooking.
  • Certified propane or gas fueled fire pits/rings/bowls/etc.  that have a mechanical shut-off to immediately stop the flow of the fuel.

Order Multi-Ride Disposable Passes 

Users can ride the Loyalist Link with Kingston Transit fares. The mutli-ride disposable pass can be purchased with pre-loaded fares in multiples of six rides.

When using aMulti-Ride pass, transfers are automatically calculated and provide 60-minutes of unlimited travel on any route (including the #10 from Amherstview to Kingston) except the route you boarded and obtained your transfer.

Please allow 5-10 business days for delivery by mail. Multi-ride passes can also be purchased in person from a variety of outlets.
