A Working smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) alarm will detect smoke and the presence of carbon monoxide and sound to alert you. Loyalist Township Emergency Services personnel provides residents with free in-home testing of their residential smoke alarms and CO alarms to ensure they are well functioning.
