The Ameriks Scholarship Fund (Amherst Island) is a reserve fund that was established in 1991, in memory of Reeve Frank Fleming, for the purpose of building pride in academic achievements by providing financial assistance to eligible, post-secondary students who have been residents of Amherst Island for a period of five years or longer.
